Each semester we collaborate with well-known social enterprises and social entrepreneurs to develop unique projects for students to participate in. Through these “On-campus internships” we work to provide the following:
For the Students:
1) An opportunity to develop professional skills while still in school
2) An experience that will deepen their understanding of the field of social entrepreneurship through a hands-on approach to learning
3) A chance to build personal relationships with some of the most well-respected social entrepreneurs in the space
For the Organizations:
1) High-quality and valuable work on unique projects
2) A positive experience working with the rising generation aspiring to join the field of social innovation
3) Additional sources of fresh and innovative ideas, perspectives, and connections
The On-campus Internships start with a competitive application process. During our pilot semester one in three applicants were accepted. Accepted students are expected to work for 10 hours a week on their project and will receive 3 university credits.
